Clarksville Announces New ‘Good Times’ Summer Concert Series

CLARKSVILLE, IN (April 1, 2024) – The Town of Clarksville is working to bring residents to its new downtown area with the announcement of the new ‘Good Times’ Summer Concert Series.  Beginning in May, Clarksville will be hosting a free concert along with food trucks and a beer garden at the central green near the town’s new Main Street.

Each concert will include an opening act from 6:00-7:30pm, followed by the headlining act from 8:00-11:00pm.  Local party band, The Juice Box Heroes, will be the first headlining act of the summer on Saturday, May 11th.  They will be preceded by The Mad Taxpayers beginning at 6:00pm.  The central green is a large grassy area, so visitors should bring a chair or blanket for seating.  No outside food or drink will be allowed in the concert area.

“We have a lot of exciting projects happening in our new downtown area, so what better way to encourage residents to explore than food trucks, beer, and free music,” said Ken Conklin, Clarksville’s Communications Director.  “We hope to grow the event with even more activities and events in the coming years.”

The Cornerstone Group, which owns the central green property, is a co-sponsor of the ‘Good Times’ Summer Concert Series.  The central green is located just next to the Bolt + Tie building at 1400 Main Street.  Ten20 Craft Brewery, which recently opened its newest location in Clarksville, will be operating the concert beer garden.  The food truck offerings will vary with each concert. The full concert schedule is listed below.
