Experience Southern Indiana’s Art Scene with the Inspired SoIN Passport

Southern Indiana (March 19, 2024) – Art is SoIN! The Southern Indiana arts scene is filled with magnificent murals, striking statues and great galleries. Area residents and visitors can now sign up for the Inspired SoIN passport, a free year-round digital passport that allows users to immerse themselves in the artistic worlds of Clark and Floyd counties in Southern Indiana.

Those who sign up for the Inspired SoIN passport can:

– Explore 22 acres of art at the NoCo Arts & Cultural District, Jeffersonville’s art hub.
– Travel back in time at the Lewis and Clark Handshake Statue in Clarksville.
– Tour downtown New Albany’s collection of murals including Space Cats, Super Kid and more.
– Pose with Rosie the Riveter at Ashland Park while taking in the Louisville skyline.

Begin your inspired journey by taking a picture with SoIN’s postcard mural at the new Southern Indiana Visitor Center in downtown Jeffersonville. The visitor center, located at 228 Spring Street, Suite 106, is within walking distance of the Ohio River, Big Four Pedestrian Bridge and several shops and restaurants. Passholders can view all locations and prizes in their passport conveniently located on their smartphone.

Win Custom Artwork
Passholders can commemorate their adventures with an 11” x 14” print created by Graphic Designer, Illustrator and SoIN native Matthew Clinard. The print features icons representing several of the public art attractions found on the Inspired SoIN passport. After checking in at 10 locations, passholders can claim their print. Prints will be directly mailed to passholders.

Grand Prize Drawing
Each check in also earns passholders an entry into a grand prize drawing! The “SoIN to Art” grand prize package includes an art party for 10 at Viva Art in Jeffersonville with catering from Union Restaurant and GameYard. The first grand prize winner will be drawn in the fall of 2024.

Getting Started
Those interested in signing up can visit GoSoIN.com/passports. Once they create a login, participants can easily add their passports to their smartphones for quick access.
