Previously held elected office: None

Why did you decide to run for this office?
“I want to do my part to help Clarksville and its residents. I have lived here my entire life and want to give back to the community that has given me and my family so much.”

What do you believe is the biggest challenge facing the Town of Clarksville, and what would you do to address it if elected?
“Housing is a huge issue and question that keeps being brought up. I want us to complete the existing apartment projects that have already been started or committed to before pursuing more apartments. We also need to find ways to attract new businesses to town. I really want to revitalize Eastern Blvd.”

What are your goals for the office?
“I want to listen to the residents (not just of district 2, but the entire town) and get done what they want to see happen. If elected, I plan on being as transparent as possible. The Eastern Blvd. corridor is also big focus of mine. I want to bring business back to that area in particular. I also want us to take a step back on the development of apartments. and figure out other quality uses of land.”

What experience do you have that makes you the best candidate for the position?
“As a software engineer, I am very detail oriented and think things through in a logical manner. I don’t just jump into projects or decisions without first exploring every possible outcome. I will bring that set of problem solving skills to the Town Council. Aside from that, as a lifelong resident of Clarksville, and coming from parents who have been involved in the town, I have a strong desire to make sure Clarksville lives up to its full potential and continues to be a wonderful place to raise a family.”

What do you think is the most important skill someone needs to fill the office you are running for?
“Members of the Town Council need to be good problem solvers and need to have a passion and care deeply for their community. I believe I fill both of those stipulations.”

What distinguishes you from your opponent?
“I have always had an interest to serve my neighbors in district 2 at the local level and have never had the desire to seek a county wide seat.”

If there was one thing that you could change about the Town of Clarksville, what would it be?
“I want to see more businesses set up shop in Clarksville, specifically locally owned businesses. We have good people and great places for businesses to thrive.”
