CLARKSVILLE, IN (April 14, 2022) – A Clarksville rehabilitation hospital is celebrating a new beginning following a special event today near Veterans Parkway. PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital cut the ribbon on it’s newest facility with the help of Clarksville officials and representatives from One Southern Indiana.
Located at 2101 Broadway Street in Clarksville, the PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital includes more than 40 patient beds, and provides inpatient physical, occupational, speech, pulmonary, and cardiac rehabilitation. PAM Health is committed to providing high quality patient care and outstanding customer service, coupled with the loyalty and dedication of a highly trained staff, to be the most trusted source for post-acute services in the Southern Indiana community. Clarksville Town Councilman and Redevelopment Commission Chairman A.D. Stonecipher told attendees that businesses like PAM Health will be a great asset to the Town of Clarksville.
“Since its founding by General George Rogers Clark in 1783, our town has continually been valued for its strategic access to people and places,” said Stonecipher. “Today, PAM Health recognizes our strategic access to a growing economy with a bold and needed investment in state-of-art, healthcare services.”
The building that houses the rehabilitation hospital was built in 2019 and opened as Cobalt Rehabilitation Hospital. The facility was then purchased by PAM Health’s ownership group in 2021. Today’s celebration marked the beginning of a new chapter for the state-of-the-art facility. Since the facility is located right across the street from Clarksville’s Town Hall, Town Councilman Mike Mustain was one of the first to welcome PAM Health to the neighborhood.
“As I drive by daily, I am impressed with your facility, maintenance and reputation.” said Mustain. “Thank you for choosing Clarksville, and should you need anything, we stand ready to assist in any way we can!”
