Community Invited to Provide Relief to Families Affected by Apartment Fire

CLARKSVILLE, IN (September 20, 2021) – The Town of Clarksville is working with a local church to provide relief to those families affected by a devastating weekend fire. At least two people were hurt and two pets killed in the fire. It happened early Sunday morning at the Garden Court Apartment Complex near Clarksville High School.

Donations for those who were affected by the fire can be dropped off at Howard Park Christian Church (450 N. Norwood Avenue, Clarksville) on Wednesday and Thursday between the hours of 3:30-6:30pm, and Saturday between the hours of 9:00am-2:00pm. Items that would be most helpful include: toiletry products, bedding, blankets and kitchen supplies.  No clothing items please.

Special thanks to Pastor Randy Smith and his congregation for their willingness to help out in this effort.
