Clarksville Welcomes New Firefighter

New Firefighter

CLARKSVILLE, IN (September 6, 2022) – The Clarksville Fire Department continues to grow with the addition of it’s newest firefighter. Christopher Koutsoubos was sworn-in at Tuesday night’s Town Council meeting by judge Jimmie Guilfoyle.

After graduating from Linsey Wilson College with a degree in Criminal Justice, Koutsoubos joined the Harrison Township Fire Department as a part-time volunteer. It was there that he claims he discovered his passion for working as a firefighter. After volunteering for six months in Harrison Township, Koutsoubos was hired on full-time at the Lafayette Township Fire Department.

Clarksville Fire Chief Brandon Skaggs says Koutsoubos is a young firefighter with a passion and knowledge that make him a great fit for the Town of Clarksville.
