Clarksville Announces Changes to Town’s Mask Policy

CLARKSVILLE, IN (February 28, 2022) – The Town of Clarksville is announcing changes to it’s policy regarding masks on Town owned property. As of Tuesday, March 1, 2022, the wearing of masks indoors at Town owned properties will now be optional. Masks had been required for more than a year due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

Recently the Clarksville Town Council approved a plan to base Town requirements on the most recent CDC guidelines. Each time the guidelines are changed at the Federal level, the our local administration would update the Town policy as well. The Town of Clarksville will continue to monitor any new updates from the Centers for Disease Control, and update our policy as necessary.
