What do you believe is the biggest challenge facing the Town of Clarksville, and what would you do to address it if elected?
“I believe the greatest challenge to our Town, and time, is the unwillingness of people to listen. Listen to each other, listen to yourself. Speak less, listen more. Only through listening can you fully understand ideas contrary to yours. Only through listening can you hear the plight of people who suffer. Only through listening can you hear the voices of those who have been victimized. All of those voices deserve to be heard.”

“My goal is to maintain the efficiencies of the Court in comparison to that of the County Courts. I wish to maintain treating people like people, and not a case number.”

What experience do you have that makes you the best candidate for the position?
“I have served in this position since 2015, but that experience in this job in meaningless. I care about people. I care about victims and defendants. I care about ensuring the rights of all are maintained. I care about the folks that come before me.”

What do you think is the most important skill someone needs to fill the office you are running for?
“The most important skill of a Judge is the ability to listen and not speak.”

What distinguishes you from your opponent?
“I am lucky to state, at this point, I do not have an opponent.”

If there was one thing that you could change about the Town of Clarksville, what would it be?
“It is not my role to advance change in a legislative agenda. I can only hope our police, fire, and courts are supported financially to carry out justice. More specifically, Town Courts are a dying breed, but ours is alive. We serve the citizens of this Town proudly and efficiently. We administer cases exponentially faster than County Courts. We also have the opportunity to”
