CLARKSVILLE, IN (July 3, 2022) – Clarksville’s St. Anthony of Padua Church was filled with red, white, and blue on Sunday. The church played host to Clarksville’s annual Independence Day concert this year. The event, organized by Clarksville Town Councilman John Gilkey, brings local residents together for the patriotic event.

Although area residents served as the talent for the event, the concert was arranged and directed by Dr. Mark Kano is Assistant Professor of Music, Vocal Music Area Coordinator, and Director of Chapel Music at Bellarmine University in Louisville. Residents used their musical talents to perform a variety of patriotic music in celebration of Independence Day.
