CLARKSVILLE, IN (July 20, 2023) – Dozens of local business leaders and government officials visited Cunningham Campers in Clarksville Thursday for a very special celebration. The family-owned business is celebrating 40 years of operation in the Southern Indiana area, first opening in Jeffersonville in 1983.

Now located in a larger 19-acre location off of Addmore Lane in Clarksville, the company is looking to continue its success and mission to provide its customers with the best RV dealer experience that they possibly can. The company wants to make sure customers feel appreciated and listened to while making their RV purchase.

“How do do stay in business this long? Its just a lot of work, a lot of prayer, and a lot of support,” said Cunningham Campers President and Owner Larry Cunningham. “You guys here today and all of our customers are what has kept us here and we really, really appreciate that.”

Cunningham says his mother and father started the business back in 1983 and that his mother still comes in to support the business it any way she can.

“Mom has her own office and she gets to do whatever she wants,” joked Cunningham.

In celebration of their 40th anniversary, Cunningham Campers is holding a special event over the next few days with inflatables for the kids, snacks, and a chance for visitors for a chance to win a camper worth up to $50,000.
