Clarksville Launches Fundraiser for Mayfield Tornado Relief

CLARKSVILLE, IN (December 11, 2021) – The Town of Clarksville is launching a new fundraiser in support of tornado relief in Mayfield, KY and the surrounding areas. All money raised will be given to the American Red Cross to support that organizations relief efforts. Area residents interested in donating may drop off cash or checks made out to the American Red Cross at the Wastewater Drive-Thru, located behind Clarksville Town Hall (2000 Broadway Street).

Residents who are unable to make it to Town Hall, or those wishing to donate with credit cards may donate at our new GoFundMe page by CLICKING HERE. New clothing or other supplies may also be dropped off in the Clarksville Town Hall lobby Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:30am-4:30pm.

Severe weather ripped through western Kentucky in the early morning hours of December 11th, destroying large areas of the City of Mayfield, KY. It is believed to be one of the deadliest single storms in Kentucky’s history.
