Clarksville Fire Department is a professional fire department that is served by the I.A.F.F. Professional Firefighters Union Local # 2594. The fire department operates 3 stations that serve the Town of Clarksville and portions of Jeffersonville Township. Clarksville Firefighters provide many community outreach opportunities throughout the year including the following: Touch a Truck, Crusade for Children, Clarksville Fire Prevention and Safe Living School Program, and CPR training.

Clarksville Fire Department provides many different types of service for the residents and guests of our protection area.

The department offers:

Emergency medical services
HazMat
Rope Rescue
Rescue Dive
Swift Water Rescue

The Fire Department has a fire prevention division; the members of this division are responsible for plan review, code enforcement and fire investigation.
