Small Business Assistance Grants

The Town of Clarksville invested $250,000 in local Clarksville businesses through an Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program funded by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This program helped support 22 local businesses and helped secure nearly 300 local jobs.

Clarksville applied for another round of funding and received another grant award of $250,000 on Aug 27, 2020. The Town is currently accepting applications from businesses, the application can be found below.

For-profit businesses that are located within Clarksville municipal limits and have under 100 employees are eligible to apply. Maximum grant amount is $10,000. Special preference will be given to minority, women, and veteran-owned businesses. Due to federal and state regulations, nonprofits are ineligible to apply.
