CLARKSVILLE, IN (October 25, 2023) – A busy Clarksville intersection will be closing temporarily due to a project by Indiana American Water. The closure of Potters Lane at Greentree North will take place from November 7th through November 9th. This is near the entrance to Wooded View Golf Course and Lapping Park. The road is being closed so Indiana American Water can install a new 24 inch transmission line under the roadway.

The water line installation is one of the final steps before the project limits on Potters Lane are milled and paved with a final coat of asphalt. Work on the Parkwood Stormwater/Wastewater project will continue a bit longer, but that work will no longer take place on the roadway which will be welcome news to drivers in the area.

Dan Cristiani Excavating plans to begin paving Potters Lane on November 13th, which may require some temporary road closures. Residents should continue to monitor the Town website and social media channels for additional information.
