The Clarksville Police Department recently welcomed Girl Scout Troops 244 and 255 for a visit to headquarters, and it turned out to be a great day for everyone involved.
During their tour, the scouts had the chance to learn more about the department, see how things operate behind the scenes, and ask questions about police work in the community. Visits like these are a great way to build connections and give young people a better understanding of public safety.
The troops also came bearing gifts, sharing some of their famous Girl Scout cookies with the department. The gesture was very much appreciated, and while opinions may vary, there was strong support for Tagalongs as a top favorite.
The department is grateful for the visit, the thoughtful gift, and the interest these young leaders showed in their local police headquarters.
