CLARKSVILLE, IN (May 23, 2023) – Dozens of business leaders from across Clark and Floyd Counties spent the afternoon welcoming Furniture Fair to the Town of Clarksville. One Southern Indiana hosted a ribbon-cutting for the company at Clarksville’s Green Tree Mall, in the space that once served as home to Sears.

Founded in 1963, Furniture Fair has opened 10 locations in Ohio and Kentucky. The Clarksville store is the company’s first Indiana location, and hopefully more will follow in the Hoosier state in the years to comes. Furniture Fair President and CEO Bob Daniels says Clarksville seemed like the perfect fit.

“This was the longest process from start to finish for a new store opening (laughs),” said Daniels during the ribbon-cutting. “But it was worth it because this is the warmest welcome we have ever had for a new store. We really want to thank the Town of Clarksville and the residents of Clarksville.”
