Clarksville staff attended the Indiana American Planning Association conference this past Friday and returned with an award recognizing their work on the Clarksville Trails Master Plan.
In partnership with TSW Design Group and Clark Dietz, the Town received the Outstanding Transportation Planning award for the project, which was made possible through a grant from KIPDA.
The Trails Master Plan represents a collaborative effort focused on improving connectivity and expanding trail opportunities throughout the community. The plan looks ahead to how residents and visitors can better access parks, neighborhoods, and key destinations through a more connected network.
Town officials are proud of the teamwork that brought the project together and are looking forward to what it means for the future of Clarksville. As the plan moves forward, it will play an important role in shaping how people get around and experience the community.
