The Town of Clarksville is continuing to invest in spaces that bring people together and create new opportunities for learning and connection.
In March, Indiana Treasurer Daniel Elliott joined the Indiana Bond Bank for a visit to Southern Indiana to highlight two local projects supported through the Community Funding Resource Program. The $670,000 investment will help fund an outdoor education pavilion at Falls of the Ohio State Park and a new stage at Central Green.
These projects are being developed in partnership with GoSoIN and are designed to expand educational experiences, enhance public spaces, and strengthen community connections throughout Clarksville.
The outdoor pavilion at the Falls of the Ohio will provide a unique setting for visitors to learn about the area’s rich natural history and environment. At the same time, the Central Green stage will serve as a permanent home for the Good Times Concert Series, creating a dedicated space for live music and community events.
Town officials expressed appreciation for the support and collaboration that made these projects possible. Partnerships like these play an important role in helping Clarksville grow while continuing to focus on quality of life for residents.
As the town continues to develop, efforts remain centered on creating spaces where people can live, work, and spend time together. These projects reflect that commitment and represent another step forward in building a connected and vibrant community.
