“For as long as I can remember, I have volunteered and served in some type of capacity. Clarksville is my home, I take pride in our Town and wanted to play a bigger role in the vision of Clarksville’s future. I want to build a community that my Grandsons can play and grow in, a Clarksville they will be proud to live in and raise their kids in.”

What do you believe is the biggest challenge facing the Town of Clarksville, and what would you do to address it if elected?
“All the empty buildings. Instead of taking up what little green space we have left, I would like to see developers come in that are willing to revitalize all the old buildings and apartments. Bring in businesses that pay great wages. Fix all the roads and sidewalks that are in great disrepair before we put in new ones. Rebuild and Revitalize what we currently have!”

What are your goals for the office?
“Repair, Rebuild & Revitalize Roads, Sidewalks and Empty buildings. Beautification – More Flowers, Landscaping, Lighting and Art throughout all of our town. Hopscotch and Art on our sidewalks Create an environment where our kids can play outside again, one they’ll want to play in and be safe in.”

What experience do you have that makes you the best candidate for the position?
“I am currently serving my 4th year as a council member. I have over 40 years of experience in Office Management, Finance & Technology. I’ve worked for Fortune 500 companies and privately owned companies. I’ve helped build two companies from the ground up that have remained successful. It has been a blessing to serve and be the peoples voice the last few years. There’s still a lot left to do and I hope to continue to be your voice.”

What do you think is the most important skill someone needs to fill the office you are running for?
“Common Sense.”

What distinguishes you from your opponent?
“I love serving our Town and all the people who live in it. It’s been a blessing to meet so many amazing and wonderful people. I always have and will continue to make myself available for any questions, concerns and ideals. Not only am I on the Town Council, I serve on the Historic Preservation Commission, 911 Board and Flood Control Board. I am a team player that will continue to go forward with what I/we believe is good for Clarksville.”

If there was one thing that you could change about the Town of Clarksville, what would it be?
“The Bend – Make it Disappear.”
