Request for Proposals – South Clarksville Street Construction
The Clarksville (Indiana) Redevelopment Commission invites any and all qualified parties to submit Proposals and Statements of Qualifications to obtain financing, develop, and construct approximately 800 linear feet of public streets, including storm water and sanitary sewer utilities, (the “Project”) in the South Clarksville Redevelopment Area in a public-private partnership. At a certain point in time, the Town would assume ownership of the Project and will pledge revenues adequate to cover the debt service from a selected financial institution. The purpose and intent of the Project is to fulfill street grid build-out responsibilities to allow for private development of adjoining properties. Denton Floyd Real Estate Group recently announced the construction of The George, a five story mixed use development with 194 units of apartments/townhouses and first floor retail. The PDF of the Proposal/Statement of Qualifications must be sent to Tammi Gibson, Economic Development Director at tgibson@townofclarksville.com and must be received by 2:00 PM (EST) on Monday, April 29, 2024.
Request for Proposals – The Clark Brothers
The Clarksville (Indiana) Historic Preservation Commission is seeking proposals for the creation of an acknowledgement of the contribution of brothers George Rogers Clark and William Clark in defining and securing the borders of the young United States to shape the country as we know it. This installation may be in any medium, but should be appropriate for outdoor placement. Consultant proposals are to be submitted by email to Planning Director Neal Turpin (nturpin@townofclarksville.com). An email response will be provided by the Town to the sender of each proposal that is submitted upon receipt of their proposal. Proposals must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. (EST), April 12, 2024. All communications in specific reference to this RFP shall be sent by email to nturpin@townofclarksville.com, and should reference the Clark Brothers RFP. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submittals.
